@Sean_macrook @Rookmeister Not if the the pitch is waterlogged/unplayable though?

@bazzacollins@Gingeraction@Rookmeister Have you seen the state of our pitch? How is that conducive with playing (half) decent football? -
@Kev_Brook@bazzacollins@gingeraction@rookmeister success brings challenges for a community club -
@LewesLadiesFC@bazzacollins@gingeraction@rookmeister Allowing the whole community to play at the Pan (on 3G) would be tremendous. -
@Kev_Brook@LewesLadiesFC@Gingeraction@Rookmeister Agreed, but at what cost? I don't think we can hand-on-heart say pitch has cost us wins -
@bazzacollins@LewesLadiesFC@Gingeraction Over a certain period it does. Apart from the initial cost I don't see how there's an argument. -
@Kev_Brook Wouldn't initial cost be considerable? And how far up are you allowed to go with an artificial surface? -
@bazzacollins It is (up to £500k) but there are grants/funding to help. Currently only allowed at Ryman level but this will 100% change. -
@Kev_Brook It would be an expensive gamble if we weren't sure it would be accepted at Blue Sq. Why risk a promotion at some point? - 6 more replies

@bazzacollins@kev_brook@gingeraction@rookmeister 3 or 4G over the back would be good -
@LewesLadiesFC@bazzacollins@Kev_Brook@Gingeraction yes, a nice wee all-weather strip. Those tennis courts don’t see much action … -
@Rookmeister@LewesLadiesFC@Kev_Brook@Gingeraction As long as it wasn't the primary pitch.
