Spineless for ITV to be making these Jimmy Saville allegations after he's dead. Presumably evidence wasn't strong enough when he was alive.
@bohemiangirl The "if" is the problem. ITV isn't a court. And it has an enormous commercial interest in running the allegs, true or not.

@bazzacollins But you seem a bit concerned with him and his honour and his memory. He was creepy to the max. -
@bohemiangirl That's a low blow. I'm not defending paedophiles. I'm defending a right to a fair trial, not trial by media after you're dead. -
@bazzacollins And issue of 'trial by media' which happens often a separate one to the import of this set of events or allegations I think. -
@bohemiangirl The women are absolutely entitled to have their allegations heard and investigated, but by police, not ITV. -
@bazzacollins You cannot bring a complaint against a dead person. So this is the only right they have. Public airing. -
@bohemiangirl But they did take the complaints to the police, when he was alive (http://ow.ly/e888g ). CPS found "insufficient evidence". -
@bazzacollins reassessed based on new evidence. ITV trial yadda yadda yadda. I think you are protecting a monster. Rethink. Try compassion -
@bohemiangirl What I object to is the assumption of guilt. You, nor I, have no idea if he's guilty, yet to label him "a monster".

@bazzacollins I do find it strange you express no sympathy for the children who this affected. Only for him. No-one has maintained ITV courtThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
