@bazzacollins erm why? iPad mini isn't rumoured to by 16:9?
The launch of a 16:9 iPhone is surely the strongest indication yet that an iPad mini is on the way.

@totalkharnage taller, thinner profile better suits 7in devices as Samsung and Amazon have shown. Rumours are just rumours. -
@bazzacollins won't run existing ipad apps. Apple will tout this as an ipad running all the apps, not a 'big phone' like the Nexus. -
@totalkharnage They can use the same black bar fudge they’re using with old iPhone apps on iPhone 5 -
@bazzacollins hmm. Not convinced. Makes sense for media I guess. Hopefully not long to go to find out.

@bazzacollins Is there really much new there cept the screen? Doesn't ios look a bit tired now? -
@david_hewson I’m much more excited about iOS 6 than the new hardware. Plenty of good stuff in there: satnav, Passbook etc. -
@bazzacollins Don't like Passbook idea at all. Giving all your personal info to Apple like that? Not for me

@bazzacollins I thought this was already known? What's going to be the difference between an iPod Touch and iPad Mini though? -
@PhilLuckee Size. Mini will be at least 7in. -
@bazzacollins So not that mini then! I've talked work into buying me an iPad...

@bazzacollins I don’t follow the logic there. Price points for iPod touch make slotting in mini tricky. Though rumours now at critical mass -
@kennyhemphill@bazzacollins The only sense I can make of it is that Apple operates v narrow price bands atm, presumably it works -
@adambanksdotcom@kennyhemphill Not sure the price bands prevent a mini launch. MacBook Pro and Air ranges have price cross-over.
