@bazzacollins Not strictly fair - neither article says what the Surface 'is going to cost'. Both just report prices quoted elsewhere

@rich_trenholm The Swedish site admitted it made up the prices. The other is a second-hand report of a price Acer's chairman made up. -
@bazzacollins Right. Neither article says what the Surface 'is going to cost', they just highlight prices quoted elsewhere -
@rich_trenholm So what does the headline: " Microsoft's Surface tablet might cost between $1K and $2K" imply? -
@bazzacollins Implies exactly what it says: it 'might' cost that, based on price quoted elsewhere. And 1st line says "rumors are swirling" -
@rich_trenholm It wasn't even a rumour. It was a price made up by a Swedish retailer, which you haven't even had the honesty to correct. -
@bazzacollins Incidentally I don't work on the US site, so it's not a question of my 'honesty' -
@rich_trenholm Apologies, your bio said editor at CNet - assumed that was the US. Point still stands, though. Stories are both baseless. - 1 more reply
