@marypcbuk To save a Doc to a folder not in your recent list in W2013 you have to click Save > Computer > Browse > Select Folder and save...

@bazzacollins File > Save is the same; no need to click Computer as recent folders appear without you clicking anything. fewer clicks -
@marypcbuk Once again, you're assuming you want to save to a recent folder. Not always the case. Often not the case in a business. -
@bazzacollins *very* often the case in business where projects go in project folders & document libraries
