Dilbert guy doubting Larry Sabato on what was being chanted as the marchers walked right in front of Sabato’s house is one of those small but concrete signs that we’re firmly in counterfactual space

This is fucking insane. It’s the police chief begging the subject of a criminal investigation not to have him removed as police chief.

This is suddenly getting very curious. Republicans are now conceding that Florida's elections systems were infiltrated in 2016. For years, the standard deflection point was that Russians didn't tamper with votes, they just "did a bunch of Facebook ads." What's going on here?

So, since Mattis has departed the Pentagon (I know, remember him?), there seems to be movement toward something like Erik Prince's plan for Afghanistan? Marvelous. 😭

It’s almost as if keeping the focus on the Mueller report does not help Trump

The Mueller report confirmed that Russian hackers gained access to the network of at least one Florida county government. On Friday, Marco Rubio said the hackers not only accessed a FL voting system, but were “in a position” to change voter roll data.

Prosecutors working for Special Counsel Robert Mueller privately said that had it not been for the unique nature of the case—the investigation of a sitting president of the United States—they would have advocated that he face federal criminal charges.

The whole issue of Robert E. Lee is a distraction. The rally was organized by Nazis who were chanting "the Jews will not replace us." That's why Trump's "good people" comment was shocking.

Read this thread. Trump is getting more and more lawless. This situation is not tenable.

UPDATE: I contacted Facebook more than seven hours ago. They acknowledged receiving my inquiry but have provided no comment or action on the hundreds of Trump ads currently running that violate its stated policies.

This should be a bigger story than it will be. So please remember it when some investigation of fictitious bogeymen is launched by DoJ soon. Time to chase vapors; no time to prosecute people threatening to kill members of the Supreme Court.

Let’s be exceedingly clear, because this is the crux of the matter: That confidential polling data was what Russia used to hack our elections. It’s how they knew exactly where to hit and when with their disinformation campaigns. It’s like handing the enemy troop movements.

Gates told Mueller that Manafort ordered him to share polling data w/ Kilimnik that he could then pass along to Ukrainian oligarchs & . Gates periodically sent Kilimnik data via an encrypted-messaging app & then deleted the communications daily.

But be honest: Who among us hasn’t been $10 million in debt to a Russian oligarch and decides to work for a U.S. presidential campaign for free to help them win so they will lift sanctions against said oligarch so he won’t kill you and succeeds even though you end up in jail?

Fox News judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano: "When the president asked Corey Lewandowski ... to get Mueller fired, that's obstruction of justice. When the president asked his then-White House counsel to get Mueller fired & then lie about it, that's obstruction of justice."
