The TPS only applies to Haitians who were in Haiti at the time of the earthquake. The Haitians at the border are largely from Chile and Brazil and haven’t lived in Haiti in years, so they wouldn’t qualify.

You're right. We should massively expand immigration and resettle all these people, thereby expanding our workforce, consumer base and tax base at the same time. We need more Americans!
