I think if we’re going to do it we should also bind the electoral college votes to the winner of the popular vote in a state. States can have the latitude to do either the ME/NE system or the other 48 system, but the scheme needs to be adopted pre-election & state legislatures

I'd be fine with codifying the court as long as we also put term limits on judges and the Congress or repeal the 22nd amendment. Judge's terms can be long, but lifetime judicial appointments are a mistake, and Congress and Executive should have the same service conditions.
