The frustrating thing is how they don't even bother addressing the contradiction. If you're unvaccinated, they tell you the vaccines are magic. If you're vaccinated, they tell you to wear a mask & cower in fear of breakthrough infections.https://twitter.com/CalebJHull/status/1436143260725129221 …

I’m fully vaccinated, but watching vaccinated people whine about unvaccinated people being a “threat” to them while simultaneously arguing that the vaccine will protect you if you get it is the funniest thing ever.

I mean, I have a consistent viewpoint. Get vaccinated & live your life. If you're not vaccinated, you've made a bad choice & should take the consequences. And it's not the federal government's job to force you, or to bail you out.

I'm willing to live with the risk of being vaccinated without further precautions. The people who are vaccinated but won't leave it at that are going to be hard to reincorporate into normal life.

The vaccine was magic, before it mutated. Now it's far better than not. But as this virus continues to spread, it can still mutate. And we chance getting a variant that ISNT affected by the vaccine. So yeah, WE DO WORRY. Why is this all so hard for you to understand?

This entire exercise is nothing but an attempt to make scapegoats to explain away Biden's failure to "shut down the virus". It's why they're forcing this on businesses and not people. Easy to make scapegoats of businesses.

When you misstate, through oversimplification and hyperbole, the other side's argument, it's a sure sign that you're doing something wrong.

It is consistent characteristic of conservatives today — the inability to think of anyone but themselves — asking them “what they could for their country” or “their brethren” is simply unheard of. In Dan’s rant is there a thought given to the vulnerable or the children?

Here, easy: the vaccines aren’t 100%, and so long as the unvaccinated allow the virus to run rampant, we need more protection than just the vaccine can provide. It isn’t an exit strategy, it’s a “don’t fill up the pediatric icu in case there’s a school bus accident” strategy.
