If you are thinking only about convincing anti-vax resisters & hesitaters to get the vaccine, you're missing the other half of the problem: convincing the COVID Doomers that it's safe to return to normal life. We need more of both before we can finally return to the Before life.

Infections ARE a problem too, you're generally right - there is no Zero sum here, BUT the fewer infections the better every SINGLE infection EVEN totally benign ones are vectors for mutation and rolling the dice with creating a H5N1 deadliness with the Covid-Delta infectiousness

We care about cases because, shockingly, they're a 2 week lead on hospitalizations, and 4 week on deaths. Ish. We've been over this for a year and a half now. How are you unable to learn this?
