2. Both Trump & Obama - in Obama's case, with Biden's advice & support - were all too willing to negotiate with the Taliban on the premise that the Taliban would end up running Afghanistan. All three Admins were wrong to do so. Biden's choices, however, have been his own.

We have a comparable example. Trump announced a sudden withdraw from Syria without planning for it, leaving our Kurdish allies to attacks from Turkey and leaving so fast we left supplies for the Russians who occupied our bases.
