It’s fascinating that you think that least popular part of the GOP “program”, ie, resist spending money on stuff voters like, eg, health care, infrastructure, child care, while giving rich people tax cuts, is actually *good* politics!

Supporting a bill that not only brings badly needed infrastructure to a country that has kicked that can down the road for decades, but one that actually helps every day working Americans (unlike the 2017 tax bill, for instance) is indeed good policy and politics.

Bad politics = "INFRASTRUCTURE WEEK" ad nauseam for four years and let the country's infrastructure deteriorate further. I think that this is GOOD POLITICS and good policy for the country.
