Clapton & Allman was never going to continue, and the others weren't that great anyway, so the only real answer is Gaye and Terrell. You could have seen them making duets records well into the Seventies, just because Marvin & Tammi were such strong friends.

Queen and David Bowie. The opportunity was there, but per a documentary I saw, band members pointed to egos getting in the way.
