Mask-wearing is no big burden unless you're part of the tiny percentage of the population that wears glasses, has less than perfect hearing, has breathing issues, speaks softly or with an accent or impediment, is old, or is a child.

I’ve found that one of biggest costs of mask-wearing is loss of ability to smile at strangers. It makes life better.
