I’m not sure that you fully appreciate it, but you’re not allowed to claim the other person is defeating a good faith debate on a topic when you started off by deliberately misquoting them, then refused to address the point raise, and claimed a term was misused (w/o explanation)

Black voters participated at record levels in recent elections. A claim that they've somehow been specifically restricted from voting during that time needs support. And I guess we're at the point where we need to define "Jim Crow," which specifically mandated racial segregation
