From a conservative perspective, it should be the game, otherwise, we're opening up things to the government banning other concepts that we might not want to be banned. And then it becomes a power game which we tend to lose.

But educational institutions do exclude some ideas and include others, given a finite amount of time to discuss ideas. So, it makes sense that government would say, "Don't tell students that the moon is made of swiss cheese."
