Besides the three singles, the classics on that record are Nightrain, Think About You, & Mr. Brownstone.

It’s So Easy is a vile song but the opening chords are good for listening to about 75 times in a row. Not that I would know or anything.

One of my biggest problems with G'N'R (who I do love) is that Axl leans into curse words like a sixth grader. It’s So Easy is certainly guilty of that.

Their songs without profanity really are, as a group, much better than their songs with profanity.

I cannot emphasize enough how UTTERLY COOL my brother and I thought that song was when were 11 and 12, and how horribly cringeworthy it is now.

I was in college & thought it was disposable. I actually first heard of GnR at a right-wing event I attended for winning an essay contest about Freedom. Later, I thought I was cool because my big brother had the Romanian Orphans CD with Civil War long before the album came out.

I know that the 'capper' line on "Civil War" is just so stupid ("What's so civil 'bout war, anyway?") but dammit I do still love that song.

It's the piano that puts it over the top.
