Granted I was an Econ major but I read more Marx in my history classes (seemingly every class had some Marx on the recommended reading list) than in any Econ class except “History of Economics”

If he’d beaten Grant, his running mate would have responded to the Panic, since Greeley died in November 1872. Though if we’re going for one change in history, why not make it two?
