@KeithOlbermann has it right. Look, the Founders could have easily written up an unambiguous right if this were about everyone owning guns. Hell, they don’t even mention firearms.

Not sure how anyone can look at the 2A and 3A combined and come to the conclusion that founders wanted the govt to have a monopoly on the use of force. Rather, our founders understood that a militia needed to be "well regulated" by a free populace that had actual power.
