Right, if you run a law firm and are dependent on hiring a bunch of Harvard Law School grads every year there is simply a right answer to the question of which side of, say, a marriage equality case you want to be filing pro bono amicus briefs on.

I don't think you've perceived how much the views of the workforce have changed since 1988. Corporations, even in traditionally Republican industries, are behaving as if they believe the equation very much favors diversity and inclusion over older values.

The number of qualified workers driven away by an inclusive and progressive work environment is far lower than the number lost by an old boys' club promoting traditional Republican initiatives. It's the invisible hand at work.

Is there data to support this hypothesis? I’d have to think CEOs and HR departments have done that analysis and believe that the talent they bring in by being woke is worth the risk of alienating certain customer segments.
