That seems to be the case in a lot of states. A lot of rural counties that were toss-ups before are turning deep red as cities become even more blue. There’s definitely more urban/rural animosity these days, and they’re choosing sides...

Also, this is why Republicans are able to take state legislature, and then try to implement new election laws in the hopes of knocking down voting in urban centers by a peg or two so that Republicans in statewide races can have a chance of winning despite not have the numbers.

Lol "So much red on the map". Dan, it's literally a bunch of empty fields. The Twin Cities "predominance" is because 2/3rds of the population lives there. It's not going to "go red" because the majority of Minnesotans aren't Republicans.
