They're not eliminating Stefaik's seat. They're going to eliminate Tenney and push part of her district into Stefanik's, weaken Katko's seat, compress Western NY's GOP seats into 1 and create a seat for Brindisi to win in the southern tier. Zeldin's seat will be redrawn to flip D

Eliminating her seat would put 3 other upstate democrats at risk.

If they do, she might end up running for Governor. While she might not be seen as a threat to Cuomo she could be if the results of the investigation substantiate the accusations. Cuomo's been in office for ten years. I don't live in NY but IMO, he shouldn't run again.

And prob won’t run again, and prob *wouldn’t have* run again for a 4th term, even without the accusations. But Rs don’t have a winning candidate, someone Dems & Indies would vote for. And they *can’t* win without a *whole lot* of those. Not A. Giuliani, not Stefanik, not Zeldin.

She can’t make a dent inside the 5 boroughs and any Republican who can’t shouldn’t waste their time or ours toying with a statewide run
