i agree, although the gerrymandering is ridiculous.

I've heard that the 2020 election was the most secure ever! I even heard it immediately after the election. What evidence is there of that being true?

Even Republican politicians are upfront about why they pass these laws, at least when they think they aren't being recorded.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/04/07/republicans-should-really-stop-admitting-that-voter-id-helps-them-win/ …Thanks. It’s not suppression but it’s making voting harder and making the jobs of local election officials harder. For example, reducing the number of drop boxes in Texas or reducing the early voting period in Georgia and not allowing local officials to send applications.
-
Well the number was zero in 2018, so any more than zero is an improvement from the previous 200+ years.

I mean....this is just nonsense. Republicans have been caught multiple times talking about the partisan benefits of voter ID laws and census allocation.
-
We literally just got rid of a law that was put in place to monitor states with histories of voter suppression. Multiple GOP legislatures tried to invalidate their state’s election results last year.
