And the fact that they are reluctant to say things that they think might be true but don't have a study *proving* it is true They're allergic to saying "this is the most likely thing and we're in the process of studying it"

Our healthcare overlords' biggest sin is refusing to recommend actions science was pretty sure would help and are pretty clearly true... until a very overly high degree of confidence complied with our outdated and ridiculous ethical bioethics guidelines.

In other words, we actually put bioethicists in charge of something important. THAT was the biggest mistake. Instead of adapting guidelines to reality, they locked-down...adapting reality to their guidelines.
