If you grew up in the Sixties, Seventies, or early Eighties, you rode like this. https://twitter.com/moodvintage/status/1370905776638865408 …

Yep. Except eldest kid sis. The swaying in the back of the wagon made her car sick

I had carsickness issues that would make your hair stand on end if I told you.

We also had Dramamine in the 60s and 70s and mom would not leave for a vacation without checking for it Eldest baby girl had to sit in the middle seat of the minivan back in the day, too much sway in the back of those too

I once vomited riding in the back like that, it was a newer car owned by the father of a friend of a friend. I was told he had to buy a new car because of my puke. Didn't believe it then, still don't. Plus, as I recall that dad was kind of a dick.

But did the insurer believe it?

My parents still tell stories of me getting sick just backing out of the driveway. Even now I can get sick driving when the windshield wipers are going. 🤢 Trips were hell as a kid until we got a minivan and I was up higher and could see out the front. (Most of the time)

I vaguely remember getting sick on the side of the hwy on the way to Florida and finding myself in an ant hill at the same time. My dad had to grab me and get them off me. Good times.
