Yep. Brandeis, and only because there was controversy over him being Jewish. Before then, they voted without hearings. Only after WWII did it become routine to have nominees attend a hearing.

The Senate has a constitutional obligation to "advise" and either provide their consent or withhold it. Mitch McConnell prevented the Senate from performing this constitutional duty.
