Very important piece here. Just kidding, it is Dan's normal modus operanti. Light on facts and context heavy on blaming the 'other side'.

Nuts. There are innumerable books (and other items) with offensive racial imagery or text sold on ebay. Not to give them any more ideas but "The Story of Little Black Sambo" comes to mind. The bandwagon aspect of cancel culture's target du jour is so maddening.

You really are focused on the critical issues of the day here... Your last piece & this one do seem to reflect an acknowledgement that *some* of the 6 books do indeed have clearly racist caricatures. So, do you find it absurd for them to remove from resale those books also?pic.twitter.com/InI7edWfAy

Dr Seuss matured as a cartoonist in an era when grotesque racial and ethnic caricatures were the norm in the trade. He made small but telling revisions to Mulberry Street in 78. The original has been out of print for 43 years now.

Do you also have a piece regarding the cancellation of french fries?
