I can't stand either party, but how is trying to get every eligible voter to be able to vote a partisan issue? (I understand differences of opinion about those incarcerated and on parole having voting rights, by the way.)

And Republicans are public with their desires to restrict voting. Everyone knows that the more Americans are able to vote, the more likely Republicans are to lose. One party wants people to vote, one party doesn’t. Both sides know this to be true.

Maybe if one monolithically white party didn’t disenfranchise black votes, demonize immigrants, fight against healthcare, deny climate change, make our most vulnerable citizens suffer & pander to the rich, than they would they would want more voters and get more diverse votes.
