Well it doesn’t matter. It’s an objective fact. Just because they are ignorant about it doesn’t excuse the behavior.

Increasingly it is. Twenty years ago, there really were a lot of people displaying it for similar reasons that people display the logo of their local college football team, who were insensitive but without animus. Now? Come on.

There’s a reason why neo-Nazi’s fly it. If you are having to explain yourself, you are losing. Heck, it’s still a common sight at lots of Republicans rallies particularly in the south.
