For sure. I am curios to see how big the impact of the surge in gun purchases from last years affects gun control legislation in the years to come.

We’re awash in guns and gun fetishists and gun violence and live in an era of mass shootings. So, congratulations, I guess?

All of these things are either good or false.

Beacuse the Constitution is clear and the law leans heavily to "right to bear arms" side of things when challenged. The anti-gun folks like paint the NRA as some boogeyman blocking "gun control" while failing to see any gun control legislation starts with an uphill battle.

Polls show about a *30-50 point* lead for people who want more gun restrictions over those who want less restrictions and about a 10-40 point lead over those who want restrictions to remain the same. This is going back about 7 years. So if that's a GOP winning issue, wow.

I eg what you mean but granting people more affirmative rights should be considered progressive. It's more a cultural issue than a left/right one. Vermont has lax gun laws despite being deep blue.

And low crime.... Imagine that.
