It’s irrelevant. McConnell speaks for power and special interests. Republican voters are over that. We’re not dumb rubes who need Mitch and the chamber of commerce to lead us. That’s over. And if we lose we lose.

Well, if we don't need the Senate, we're definitely lowering our expectations.

We don’t need establishment Republicans who throw their own voters under the bus at every turn.

The only way to ensure you are never at odds with your voters is to have a lot fewer of them. There are lots of things that don't generate 100% agreement among people who vote for Republicans.

Mitch McConnell has been the GOP senate leader during a period in which the nation has moved dangerously to the left. He’s useless.

Donald Trump was president when the country moved forcefully to the left. But he’s USEFUL?

Elections don't matter, Robert. Losing everything is a win.

Dave, the problem with that construct is that Trump was/is deathly afraid of losing! That's why he conjured the entire "rigged" scenario (going back to 2016) to ensure that any "loss" wouldn't be seen as such. That's why we ended up on Jan. 6.

Doesn’t matter. The game has changed now. Conservatives won’t play defense anymore.

Playing no defense is not a winning strategy in any form of conflict I know. But you could probably sell it to the Knicks.
