Reminder: in most systems of government in world history, January 7 would have dawned with the heads of Donald Trump and the rioters mounted on pikes around the Capitol as a warning to others for all time. A purely legislative process of accountability is a pretty mild response.

Dan is kind of mad that they let those of us who went to DC on 1/6, and did nothing wrong, live.

Well, but you're including Trump's head, who, like Nick, showed up and did nothing wrong. It's simple extrapolation. No, you aren't saying heads on pikes is GOOD but you are begging questions as to what is bad.

Trump did, in fact, quite a lot wrong for an extended period of time, resulting in what happened that day. He's not at all similarly situated to peaceful protestors who showed up, did not enter the Capitol, & were not President of the United States.
