Let me ask you guys this: *If*—big if—Trump decides to run again for the nomination in ‘24, would you expect any Rs to run against him?

Why wouldn’t other run? Because: a) they wouid assume they would lose; and b) They would be afraid to offend Trump voters were they to wish to run again.

Some would run. But might be healthier not to have another 18-25 candidate field.

If they are afraid to run it’s because they know the voters want Trump. But that’s a long time off.

Similar to why people shied away from challenging Romney in 2012.

Yet, he rolled over every time he was attacked. Almost like he tried to lose. And it's hilarious now to see those who hated him then praise him now, & he falls for it. They'll discard him as soon as he's no longer useful to them.

Whereas Trump, whenever attacked, gave the other side exactly what it wanted & needed to beat him. Romney was a bad candidate, as I warned people for years & years. That doesn't excuse any of Trump's mistakes.

Not saying it does. But it's hilarious for him or his fans to say he is standing on "principle." One must HAVE principles before he can stand on any.

He has personal principles. He has never had political principles.
