I know quite a few people IRL who were lifelong Rs, not political professionals, who refused to ever support Trump.

Had Trump left things as they were on Election Day 2020, I'd have let him be. The problem is that he chose to burn everything down after that. I don't think we get 74 million votes for what Trump did from 11/4 to 1/6.

Your plan has been losing badly for 30 years. Time for a new one.

      So, you prefer an approach opposite to the one taken in 1994, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2010, & 2014, & prefer 2020-21?

The democrats did the exact same thing you're ticked about now in 2000, 2004, and 2016. It ended in violence in 2016. When did you blame Al Gore, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton for democrats reacting irrationally, both in congress and in public, after those elections?

And your argument t wouid be more plausible if there was a Democratic nominee who did not concede (excepting 2000, which was sui generis) and if a *supermajority* of the Dems House caucus had supported these performative efforts.
