If you are referring to a criminal prosecution — then you are correct. But to claim that this trial is without a doubt constitutional is at best arrogant.

This trial is, indeed, constitutional. You should held a POTUS responsible for his impeachable behavior even when he's out of office, to make an example of him. Plus, there's the disqualifying from holding future office as a remedy. It's all in the Constitution.
