62 million Americans voted for George W. Bush. 61 million voted for Mitt Romney. 60 million voted for John McCain. Why is it not considered a personal insult to those voters to criticize those men in the most caustic of terms?

I mean, I had my disagreements with each of them, particularly Romney. But you know, a lot of the people peddling "any criticism of Trump insults his voters" now also voted for those guys then.

Sure, *some* people lump all Trump voters that way. But not all criticism of him does.
