I'm interested in unifying & adding. This is the polar opposite of that. It is designed to make that impossible & empower Democrats at every level of government.

What use is adding if you surrender once in power?

Surrender what? This is entirely about the election contest & impeachment, both of which followed Trump losing power. Entirely.

It’s not. It’s about McConnell trying to turn back the clock and rule the rubes. They won’t be ruled anymore.

McConnell has done no such thing. He has simply acted against the personal interests of Donald J. Trump after the election.

Why? Because he’s suddenly principled?

Because Trump crossed lines after the election he had not before. You can't seriously pretend that nothing happened between 11/4 & 1/6, or that this is about anything but that.

Come on. You think McConnell really thought it was a perfect phone call? This is about power.

Ah, but here we come to it: Mitch had Trump's back on the Ukraine call, for party unity. The second call was part of Trump turning *against* party unity, which is where he lost Mitch.

He lost Mitch when Mitch thought he could make it be 2012 again. He can’t.

This is fact-free alt-history. Mitch worked hand in glove with Trump throughout 2020. Had Trump won, or had Trump accepted defeat, nobody would be having this conversation right now. We both know that. Everybody knows that.
