When was the last time Donald Trump interacted with reality? I don't mean "told the complete truth" or "agreed with me on everything." I mean, a public event that wasn't wrapped up in his insistence that he won the election. If he plans a political future, he needs to do that.
Question is whether Mitch is providing cover for his people to convict, or cover for them to criticize but vote no.

It’s a very small ledge upon to base a no vote if you agree with McConnell’s assessment: that the president of the United States “provoked” a mob to attack the US Capitol, endangering the VP and MoCs. Especially when there remains a meaningful remedy: barring from public office.
