The neocon obsession with the pallets of cash is kind of embarrassing. As a part of a peace agreement, we agreed to give them their own money back. The pallets of cash was the only option due to their strict banking sanctions.

I would’ve thought you above this sort of lie of omission. There’s plenty of things to dunk on Rhodes for, including ones that can be used in this way, but this isn’t one of them.

That’s a pretty asinine statement considering the Iranians have been fighting Al Qaeda and ISIS for years, unlike Saudi Arabia who has only allowed them to thrive.

The blatant disregard for the truth on this story by GOP’ers is astounding. That was money the US seized from Iran in the 70s or 80s. The return of that money was part of the damn deal.

And while we are on the subject, the most positive aspect of the Iran nuclear deal was that multiple foreign powers, including China and Russia, signed on to it. Without them, it would not have been effective as Iran would have had ways to circumvent.
