I think that if I were on the separation of powers committee, I would not want a crackpot as my chair. And the man, who may be wonderful in other contexts for all I know, has been consistently a crackpot for years now.

I don't respect the guy enough to hate him. I think he just employs motivated reasoning to reach a lot of pro-se level legal conclusions that are, frankly, embarrassing. It's a lesson to us all not to think our expertise in one area transfers elsewhere.
