In many ways yes. Very strong minorities in House, Senate. Control of State Legislatures. Tons of Federal Judges and SCOTUS. But in another way, the GOP seems ripe for a civil war more fierce than GOP in 2008 or Dems in 2016.

GOP's challenge is to convert the pure Trump voter with policy instead of using the cult of victimization like Democrats do. The latter is easier, but the former more substantial and sustainable. Of course, the Democrats increasing radicalization may help with the heavy lifting.
