At the end of the day, what he actually did in power matters much more than his ambivalence toward slavery before he reached the pinacle of American politics. Same with LBJ, even though I found him despicable.

Funny enough, the entire article is about what the renaming decision was about: the treatment of Native Americans under Lincoln. Not saying I agree with that logic, but it's a far cry from the tweets framing, which is quite the click-bait misdirection.
