5 pledged electors refused to vote for Hillary, while 2 refused to vote for Trump. Neither Hillary nor the DNC supported any effort to strip away pledged electors. This is a false equivalency on a grand scale.

I know the Roberts court recently upheld states being able to legally bind their electors, ie punish faithless electors. What’s interesting is that the parties still control and in fact have competing elector slates. That seems unconstitutional to me.
