Republicans' position here—that there was voter fraud in Georgia, but it only affected the three GOP candidates who didn't win—comes close to Republicans' actual position, which is that any Democratic victory in Georgia is inherently illegitimate. https://twitter.com/stphnfwlr/status/1326270295641104386 …

That was not her position. She did not allege **fraud** but **suppression**. Maybe you ought to do some of that excellent research you are famous for and look up the difference.

There was never anything resembling evidence sufficient to overcome Kemp's margin of victory.

That isn’t the point. One thing—wide scale partisan voter suppression—is real. (And no, the fact that people overcame this to vote is also not the point.) The other thing—partisan voter fraud—is not. But right, exactly the same.

Spreading theories of stolen elections without evidence sufficient to show the election was stolen, in order to discredit the outcomes, is precisely the point.

Uh, no. In 2020, the Trump campaign, with the support of the Republican Party, is baselessly alleging material voting fraud in federal court *in order to overturn the election .* In 2018, Abrams sued to change the voting system *going forward*: https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/policy-and-politics/2018/11/30/18118264/georgia-election-lawsuit-voter-suppression-abrams-kemp-race …

She continued for years to bill herself as having rightfully won the election, yet never tried to prove this in court *because she did not have proof that would stand up in court* This is not complicated.

Joe Biden now leads Donald Trump by over 5,000,000 votes nationwide. That is the second largest vote margin since 1996, second only to Barack Obama's 2008 win. (This is not a close election, it only feels that way because of the delays in counting the mail-in votes)

So just to understand your logic: you’re criticizing the person who *did not*pursue a baseless claim in court—the person who is actually interested in making it easier for people to vote—rather than the people who *are* pursuing a baseless claim in a court?

Presumably the Trump campaign ought to know what you claim Abrams knew—that their claim is meritless. Yet they are pursuing it anyway, despite even higher stakes, in a state controlled by a right wing governor s d a right wing SoS.
