Releasing vote data while the voting is going on has a problem similar to extended early voting: people voting based on different information. It additionally allows psyop efforts to talk people into thinking one side has won.

Ohio does exactly what Florida does. They process and scan the early ballots, but they do not pull the data from the machines until Election Day. That's why Ohio's initial results looked so blue. It was the opposite of the sequence from Pennsylvania.

I think all counties should send their data to the state at the same time. None of this "let's see how many votes we need to manufacture" stuff.
