Again, the legislature empowered the board of elections to make these kinds of modifications. The board found exigent circumstances warranted them. The PA SC found they acted within the authority granted to them by the legislature. So what’s really your problem Dan?

There are some complications here. PA constitution, like almost every state constitution, contains an affirmative right to vote. Every statute must be viewed thru that right. Moreover, what standing does the state GOP have here? Why didn’t the PA legislature bring the case?
