But your objection is to the idea of even postmarked votes being accepted, right? Do you imagine a tax return day by date, not post mark too? That’s a “neutral” rule. Again, we’re not even tsk king about stuff like trying to eliminate drop boxes. Any justification for that?

There are disadvantages to a postmark rule rather than a received-by rule, in terms of the logistics of vote counting. But I'm fine with either rule if it is enacted on a uniform statewide basis by the legislature in advance of the election. That's all I ask.
