Trump is utterly incapable of talking about race with any sort of sensitivity or empathy, but he does seem to be able to bull through, with some non-trivial number of non-white voters, simply by virtue of chutzpah.

Real talk: Biden's crime policies in the 1990s were mostly good, Trump agreed with them at the time, so did most people in both parties. But Biden is totally insincere claiming a belated conversion on them now.
