The Trump family is, of course, uniquely unsuited among Republicans to complain about Hunter Biden's influence-peddling, but (1) Trump has never let shame hold him back & (2) it also points out why Biden can't reasonably make this same argument against Trump.

Not entirely. DJT's kids and Kushner made plenty of cash in their own businesses as well as their dad's before government. And, they are currently being paid by US, not foreign governments.

That's the key difference. The rural voters without college degrees will not recognize their family and friends in the privilege of Hunter Biden. Their stories are more likely to have ended in tragedy than million dollar payments from international organizations.

A lot more people bust their butts day in and day out and when they see the “moron with connections” get special treatment or moved ahead it really chaps them. Maybe folks inside the Beltway, like Sean, really don’t get middle America where everything isn’t nepotistic.
