@adamgurri Just to clarify, is the principle here that the mere fact of one party's majority position in the Senate that results from the most recent election justifies whatever that majority then does as an expression of the voters who voted in that select set of Senate races? -
The principle is, literally, that elections have consequences. Republicans were not sure they had the votes for Barrett in 2018. Getting more Senators meant they do. Somehow, this seems to be controversial.

I'm sure Dan will support a Democratic Senate expanding the Supreme Court to 21 seats.

35 million voters voted for Republicans in the senate in 2018; 52 million voters voted for Democrats. So obviously some voters are more equal than other voters in your formulation, if all that matters is what the voters want - but only Republican voters.

know the GOP expanded their Senate majority in 2018 but technically more Americans voted for DEMOCRATS in 2018 Senate Elections than Republicans. This is an untenable situation. The majority isn't going to be OK with this especially since the GOP is controlled by extremists

So the 38% of voters who voted for Republicans in 2018. I just want to make sure those are the voters you're talking about.
